The China National Flower Garden was built in 2001 along the southern bank of Luo River of Luoyang in Henan province. Spread over 255 acres, it is the largest peony park in China. It cultivates about 500,000 peonies in nine colors as well as 2,000,000 other plants of 1,000 different species.
Cut peonies are arranged in the Luoyang National Peony Garden, one of the oldest gardens to grow and reproduce peonies flowers in China. There are over 1 million peony trees of 1,200 different kinds. The species of peonies blooming here is highly reputed for its big flower, flamboyant colour and lasting florescence.
